Sleeper Cover Reveal

Sharon Johnston is an old friend from my inkpop days and it gives me great pleasure to reveal the cover of Sleeper, the first book in her Toy Soldiers series. It's super striking, isn't it?

Sharon is a writer from Mackay in Queensland, Australia who has short stories published in anthologies and was also runner-up in the Australian Literary Review's Young Adult short story contest with KARMA. By day she is a public relations executive and by night she writes weird fiction and soulful contemporaries while her husband, two sons and cat are fast asleep. SCBWI Inside Story

I'll be one of twenty authors doing a short presentation at the SCBWI Inside Story Western Washington region's twice-yearly celebration of new books! Booksellers, teachers, and librarians from the local area are coming to see what's new from Washington's authors. I'll be discussing Carrier of the Mark and Shadow of the Mark, and there will also be a signed copy of each up for grabs on the night. If you are in the area, I'd love to see you there.
